• Oversee the dispensing of specialty medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Manage inventory and procurement of specialty medications, including temperature-sensitive and high-cost drugs.

• Assist patients with navigating insurance coverage and prior authorization processes for specialty medications.

• Work with insurance companies and financial assistance programs to ensure patients have access to necessary medications.

• Stay current with advancements in specialty pharmaceuticals, including new drug therapies and emerging treatment guidelines.

• Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy program.

• Experience in specialty pharmacy.

• State pharmacy license in good standing.

• Proficiency in managing and dispensing specialty medications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
